
Meet Matthew D. Reuter, MD

Dr. Matthew D. Reuter is a board-certified internist who has dedicated his career to providing exceptional patient care. Dr. Reuter completed his medical education at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree.
A lifelong St. Louis resident, he subsequently returned to St. Louis and completed his Internship and Medical Residency at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident.
For over a decade, Dr. Reuter has served as the Medical Director of Missouri Baptist Medical Center Hospitalist Services. In this role, he was instrumental in developing and overseeing hospitalist programs that provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
The goal of his concierge, or personalized care, internal medicine practice is to prolong life and maximize wellness for all patients, especially proactively caring for those with high risk factors before they suffer a serious health event.
Dr. Reuter will have admitting privileges both at St. Luke’s, where his office is located, and at Missouri Baptist, where he practiced for over 15 years.

When Dr. Reuter is not in the office, you can find him spending most of his time with his family. Dr. Reuter is married to Vanessa Reuter who is an endodonist with Heartland Dental. They have 4 kids and reside in Town and Country. He also enjoys listening Audible books, exercising, and watching his kids play soccer and other sports.
